Thousand-year-old parish church of San Giovanni Decollato
The building, documented as early as 1025, retained the title of parish church until 1829, when it was transferred to the provostship of San Giovanni Battista in Firenzuola.
The façade is preceded by a portico with architrave; inside, the structure is divided into three naves, with the central one slightly raised compared to the lateral ones, visible from the outside.
Typical Romanesque elements are the decoration of the portal and the triangular panel decorated with a checkerboard that adorns the external right wall.
The interior, remodeled, was originally divided by columns that directly supported the wooden beam roof. On the counterfaçade there are two Romanesque capitals decorated with eagles.
